Xerox Copier/Printer Earns Five-Star Rating from Leading Independent Test Lab

Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI), a leading US independent document imaging research and testing firm has recently awarded a five star rating to the Xerox Document Centre 1100 Copier Printer (model no 4110 in the USA). This accolade supports the wide industry acceptance of this product, launched merely five months ago in Australia.

"With over 200 installations meeting the print requirements of Australian businesses, the DC1100 is one of our most successful black and white copier/printers in recent times," says Chris Aked, Production Printing Systems Marketing Manager, Fuji Xerox Australia.

Ken Nardone, technical manager of field testing, Buyers Laboratory Inc. said, "The Xerox DC1100 Copier/Printer offers outstanding image quality, ease of use and productivity at an excellent price point, when compared to competitive machines." Buyers Laboratory Inc conducts intensive competitive testing on office and production equipment, comparing overall performance, productivity and reliability among other critical factors.

The Xerox Document Centre 1100 is designed for the mid production market - including small-to-medium-sized print shops and large offices with average print volumes of 80,000 to 350,000 pages a month. It has the fastest scanner in the light production market and allows customers to produce jobs as diverse as maps, booklets and direct-mail pieces.

"The acceptance of this device in Australia has exceeded all our expectations," says Aked. "Our customers find the Document Centre 1100’s combination of speed, quality and reliability of great benefit to their businesses. Since its launch in February, we have had positive feedback about our competitive pricing, reputation for reliability and Xerox's FreeFlow(TM) workflow software - making the Document Centre 1100 a popular purchasing choice."

Award-winning Xerox colour and black-and-white offerings range from office scanners, printers and multifunction systems - including Phaser®, CopyCentre®, WorkCentre® and WorkCentre Pro lines - to high-speed digital production technology such as the Xerox iGen3® Digital Production Press and Xerox Nuvera(TM) 100 and 120 Digital Production Systems. Xerox also has earned accolades for its growing suite of consulting services, workflow solutions and software designed to streamline document-intensive business processes.
